Bid now for John Hendrie's signed shirt and an autographed match ball
The Barnsley FC Supporters Trust are currently auctioning the signed shirt worn by John Hendrie and a signed match ball used during the 10th anniversary charity football match between Barnsley and Bradford which was played at Oakwell on 7th May 2007.

This month the Foundation have offered grants totaling £4,644.45 to applicants. These grants are across a broad range of sporting activities which include: Rhythmic Gymnastics, Roller/Ice Hockey, Kick Boxing, Rowing, Cricket, Archery, Swimming, Rugby and Judo.
Applications are open to individuals who feel they meet the Foundation criteria, you can look on the Grants page for Information on how to apply Click Here to go to the Grants Page.

Press Release 4 for The Costcutter Challenge. Former Drop The Dead Donkey star Robert Duncan, ex-Coronation Street regular Charles Dale join the Rank of The Lords Taverners, along with ex-Yorkshire heroes Richard Blakey and Neil Hartley, and current day Middlesex seam bowler Chris Silverwood.
Meanwhile, Chris Chitell, who of course plays Eric Pollard in the long-running soap, will skipper an Emmerdale line-up that includes a similar blend of artistic and cricketing ability.
Amongst the actors on show will be the ever popular Patrick Mower - known to fans as Rodney Blackstock - Tom Lister who plays Carl King, Matthew Wolfenden - familiar to viewers as heartthrob David Pollard - Chris Villiers who plays Grayson Sinclair and Georgia Slowe, better recognised as Perdy Sinclair.
And the soapstars will also not be short of top class experience on the cricket field with the likes of former England wicketkeeper Bruce French and ex-Nottinghamshire favourite Basher Hassan in to bolster their squad.
It is almost certain that both teams will include a number of surprise celebrity names come game day, watched by a large number of famous faces in what is sure to be a very big crowd.
Starting at 2pm, the Costcutter Challenge will raise much-needed finance for the Dickie Bird Foundation, Leukaemia Research and the Lord Taverners, cricket’s official charity. As well as the game itself, a range of other attractions including bouncy castles will be on site to ensure a fun day out for all the family.
