We at the Foundation are proud to tell you that this month we have give another 7 Grants to disadvantaged children, to help them in their chosen sport. The sports involved are:
Modern Pentathlon,
Table tennis x3,
Cricket x 2
The areas these grants cover are St.Helens, Gwent, Liverpool, Darlington and Isle of Sheppey. All you need to do is go to grants on our web site and check if you/your child qualify for a grant.
If you or they do qualify just follow the instructions on the grant application form.
Attention all in the BRADFORD /BARNSLEY AREA The Foundation has had a donation that is restricted to the Bradford Barnsley area post codes. If you are from these areas, I urge you to make an application before this restricted funding runs out.
Applications from others area are not effected by this and will be treated on their merits as per the Foundation guidelines.

The Dickie Bird Foundation has this month issued grants totalling £5,837, to various children from disadvantaged backgrounds to continue in the sport of their choice.
The Foundation offer grants to all children across all sports, these grants involve, cricket athletics, football, ice dancing, swimming, taekwando, netball, speed skating and wheelchair racing.
Each of these youngsters has been given the opportunity to purchase clothing, equipment and a small cost towards their travel through their grant.
Their ability in their chosen sport does not matter to the Foundation, the fact that they are given the opportunity to take part is enough, each application is judged on its own merits, so equal chance to all applicants is upper most in the minds of the Trustees.
